Have you been following the 2023 Carifta Games?

The annual junior athletics competition will be held in Trinidad and Tobago in 2025, marking the first time in 20 years that this country has hosted the Carifta Games.

The Dwight Yorke Stadium in Bacolet, Tobago, served as the site of the last Carifta Games hosted by T&T in 2005.

Trinidad and Tobago finished third in the medal standings at the 50th Carifta Games in 2023, winning a total of 25 medals, including 9 gold, 10 silver, and 12 bronze. Jamaica took first place with 78 total medals earned.

Trinidad and Tobago received rankings of 39th and 42nd in the World Happiness Reports for 2019 and 2020, respectively.

The World Happiness Report is the first study to rate countries based on how happy their citizens are.
