]]>Travel with Zoe, a 29-year-old British woman who has been travelling solo since 2013. She made her first trip to Trinidad in 2015, staying for three months while working as a volunteer on a farm in Moruga in exchange for lodging and food. She has subsequently fallen in love with Trinidad and is visiting the island for the sixth time.
She began a TikTok page, recording all the destinations she’s been to and the events she engaged in while there, but her trips to Trinidad have inspired her to explore Trinidad and Tobago and showcase our amazing country to her fans.
This beach clean-up was planned using feedback from her TikTok followers during a live stream, where she asked for suggestions for a particular beach and received the most popular response, Mayaro. The goal of the beach cleanup was threefold: firstly, she wanted to make a positive impact by making our beaches cleaner. Secondly, she wanted to make it a habit for us to bring our rubbish home after visiting the beaches instead of leaving it there, and thirdly, she wanted to meet her TikTok followers and “lime”.
Zoe is still in Trinidad, travelling throughout the country, staying with locals and posting plenty of content for her TikTok followers showcasing the beauty of our island.
